Chris is the Managing Partner of the firm. Chris obtained his BA LLB degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and was admitted to practice in 1982. Chris read for a Master’s degree in Property Law (his dissertation being on the subject of defects pertaining to mortgage bonds with particular reference to the extinction and irregularities pertaining to the principal obligation) and was conferred his LLM degree in 1986. In addition to undertaking a wide and specialized range of commercial work, including mergers and acquisitions, Chris is also responsible for transactions pertaining to commercial and industrial property, as well as securitisation for the Banking sector.
